As of May 2025 there are at least 6 people who have completed the official IFSI training Level 1: 2 Psychologists, 2 Couples and Relationship Therapist/Psychotherpist and 1 Nurse RN. 1 Psychotherapist has completed Level 2 and is IFS Certified Therapist. We formed the National Association, IFS Iceland (IFS á Íslandi) on 29 May 2025 that will be a part of the IFS Nordics. On the official IFSI training Levels 1,2,3 run by the IFS Nordics in collaboration with the IFSI, there are several spaces reserved for people in Iceland. The admission criteria for Iceland is listed on this site at Trainings-Registration. The President of IFS Iceland is Hildur Magnúsdóttir (www.salmedferd.is), she can be reached at hildurma@internet.is for information and applications for membership in IFS Iceland. We have an open Facebook page IFS á Íslandi and another closed for members.

Sweden
IFS Sweden Institute will be established in 2025 to create a community for IFS therapists and practitioners in Sweden. The institute will aim to serve as a hub for knowledge-sharing, professional development, and networking within the IFS model.
We have an active Facebook group, “IFS Sverige”, where members can exchange insights, support each other, and discuss IFS-related topics. Additionally, we are creating a website that will offer resources, information about IFS, training opportunities, and events.
IFS Sweden will be part of the broader Nordic collaboration for official IFS trainings, increasing access to quality education for practitioners in Sweden and beyond.
